Fashion-Enter’s FC Designer Workspace will be joining the Islington Together: Let’s talk about a greener future festival (18 – 29 October 2021) with the offer of a free repair and upcycle workshop.

Agenda: 10am – 11am
Drop in for a tour of the workspace where you can learn about the Workspaces sewing and garment making opportunities. You will find out about the Level 1 and 2 stitching and pattern making courses, fashion apprenticeships, affordable studio spaces to rent, sewing machine hire and tailored business support.
11am – 1pm – Upcycle My Wardrobe practical workshop
In this interactive workshop you will be taught how to repair and upcycle an existing garment in your wardrobe. We invite you to bring along one or two items you may no longer wear and we will teach you repair and alteration techniques to inject a new lease of life into your wardrobe!
This event is a part of the Islington Together: Let’s talk about a greener future, a two-week festival in the run-up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).
