Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) CEO and Apparel & Textile Manufacturers Federation (ATMF) Chair Jenny Holloway is featured in the August 2026 edition of the ASBCI’s In Association magazine, sharing her latest article on the future of UK garment manufacturing.
Titled ‘In Factories We Trust‘, the 4-page article highlights an important new initiative being developed through the Leicester Forward project to strengthen confidence, transparency and competitiveness across the UK garment manufacturing sector. The forthcoming ‘In Factories We Trust’ platform, brings together ATMF, FEL, Fashion Roundtable, De Montfort University and SP&KO, with the support of the Garment and Textile Workers Trust.
The platform will provide brands, retailers and public procurement bodies with greater visibility of UK factories, while enabling manufacturers to demonstrate their standards, capabilities and commitment to continuous improvement. As part of the initiative, Fashion-Enter’s Head of Compliance TJ Hussein has begun structured ethical compliance visits across Leicester factories. The assessments examine areas including working practices, documentation, HR policies, machinery and facilities, with findings used to create tailored corrective action plans.
The initiative will also introduce a controlled verified reviews system, allowing brands and clients to provide feedback on their experience of working with factories.

Jenny highlights the importance of making the strengths of UK manufacturing more visible: “We know the strengths and viability of making in the UK. What we must now ensure is that brands, public procurement contracts and government can clearly see that Making in the UK is a profitable, viable option for the future.”
With Leicester continuing to play a major role in UK fashion and textile manufacturing, In Factories We Trust aims to provide greater evidence, transparency and confidence around the capabilities of British factories – supporting the case for more UK sourcing and procurement.
