Inside FEL’s Ethical Factory

Over the last 3-years Fashion-Enter Ltd has delivered hundreds of Factory Uncovered tours, seminars and CPPD’s. Visiting groups range from fashion brands, manufacturers, sourcing teams and educational institutions such as universities and colleges. Led by FEL Director, Caroline Ash, these sessions provide onsite learning that is relevant to specific projects or job roles. Now, for those that can’t visit in-person we have created a comprehensive 10-part series of educational videos. These videos offer a unique window into the full lifecycle of garment production — from concept and costing to cutting, construction, legislation, sustainability, and digital innovation — all underpinned by FEL’s commitment to transparency and ethical manufacturing.

In this short YouTube video Caroline briefly explains what the video series covers.

Whether you are a fashion educator, a manufacturing business, or part of a development programme, our CPPD videos bring UK expertise directly to your audience—no travel necessary.

The Glamour, The Gloss – But Who Made the Clothes? Fashion Weeks Are Failing the Backbone of the Industry

And Finally…

A big thank you to educator and designer John Herrera (pictured left). Part of the FTA teaching team John has received exemplary feedback from all of the courses he has been involved with. As a working designer he now has opportunities in the Philippines where he will be based over the next 3-months. John will resume teaching with us in the autumn, until then we say thank you and wish him the very best.

Until next time, have a great week.
