Second Cohort of Hope – FX Participants Complete Successful Photoshoot of Their Designs

21-09-2025
The second cohort on the Hope-FX programme, the six-month educational initiative founded by Fashion-Enter Ltd / FashionCapital CEO Jenny Holloway, have just completed a major milestone: a successful professional photoshoot showcasing their original t-shirt designs.
Launched in 2024 in partnership with the North London NHS Foundation Trust, Hope-FX empowers young adults navigating mental health challenges by combining hands-on fashion training with tailored emotional support. The programme operates across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington, giving young people the chance to explore creativity in a safe, structured environment.
On 29th July 2025, six participants from the programme’s second intake brought their designs to life at MotherLight Studios. The day was more than just a photoshoot — it was a celebration of confidence, creativity, and progress. Each participant had the opportunity to contribute to the creative direction of the shoot, from styling their pieces and directing models to shaping the overall visual aesthetic.
They were joined and supported by NHS team members Nina, Aishling, Ade, Edie, and James, ensuring a calm, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere throughout the day.

Beth Davy-Day, Creative Director at FEL, praised the participants’ efforts:
“The Hope-FX shoot marked a fantastic milestone for our participants, offering them a unique insight into how a professional photoshoot is run. They had the opportunity to collaborate with Norv, Josie, and the brilliant team at MotherLight Studios — styling their own t-shirts, directing models, and shaping the overall aesthetic of the shoot.
“It was truly inspiring to witness their confidence grow throughout the day and to see the excitement as their designs came to life. Their talent and creativity shone through, making it a truly magical experience.
“A huge thank you to Norv, Josie, and everyone at MotherLight Studios for their support and enthusiasm.”
The success of the photoshoot marks a key step in the journey of the second Hope-FX group. Their work will soon be featured in an open day showcase, followed by a pop-up space at the FC Designer Collective shop in late August — more details to be announced soon.
