There are still a few pitches left at the next Hoxton Market on 20thOctober!
This is a fantastic opportunity to sell your own collection in one of London’s most vibrant areas.
Home to many up and coming designers and artists Hoxton Market has strong links with fashion and creativity and has recently been given a new lease of life with Saturday being its busiest day! Now is your chance to be a part of this and through Fashion Enter generate income from selling your designs!

Date: Saturday 20th October
Time: Market open from 9am – 5pm. Set up is from 7am – 9pm
Location: Hoxton Market, Hoxton Road, Shoreditch
Cost: £15 pitch fee (you’ll also need to hire a stall at £5 or bring your own. Covers will be provided at no extra cost)
Last few places available for ‘All you need to Succeed in Fashion Today’ seminar
There are now very limited spaces left for the upcoming seminar aimed at new and emerging designers taking place next Thursday, 18th October at the University of East London!
Designers will have the opportunity to hear the invaluable advice from a series of top industry experts, including the Buying Director of ASOS discussing ‘What makes a winning collection’.

ASOS Apprenticeships – second stage
After last week’s announcement of two apprenticeship positions available at asos.com we have been inundated with CV’s of hopeful fashionistas all hoping to kick start their careers at the leading etailer. This Friday will see the garment tech team visit the Fashion Studio to conduct a day long interview with the 20 selected candidates.
Good luck to those that have made it to the second stage. For those who have just missed out we still have plenty of exciting roles coming up…………..

Founded in 2003, Vendula London has fast become a leading funky fashion accessories brand. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented graphic design apprentice to join the company. You can find out vendula at www.vendula.co.uk. You will be working with the creative director in designing artworks and applying to company’s products. You will also be overseeing the development from sampling to final production.

JD Williams audit report
Last week we have received our official audit from JD Williams and we are delighted to have received such a strong report for both The Factory and the Fashion Studio,
We do pride our selves on excellent production with complete compliance. We currently work with John Lewis, asos and Topshop and we can make small run production of 50 up to 300 and also large production 300 – 40,000!

Goodbye to Mary
It is with deep regret that we announce that Mary Lortges lost her battle with cancer last Thursday. Our condolonces are with her family at this very sad time.
‘I worked with Mary for over a year and, like many other colleagues, Mary was far more than an employee. I valued her friendship and support immensely and she was one feisty woman! I felt shattered when Mary lost her battle with cancer and I still feel raw. Mary leaves behind a wonderful close family who I have also become closer with over the last few months. Our condolences to her family. Mary your legacy will live on at the Factory, we all miss you’ Jenny Holloway, Director.
