The Cape Project

The Cape Project progresses to the nest stage as 14 lucky finalists have been selected to sell on Asos.com.

I’m afraid if we have not contacted you then you are not one of the 14 finalists. We have seen some innovative and stunning designs come out of this competition, and we can’t wait to see the final designs being sold on asos.com.

For the finalists that got through congratulations to you. We are delighted that there are a mix of Fashion Enter designers and also some new designers cutting their teeth in the industry and getting that much needed exposure.

We thank all of you who entered the Cape Project competition, for your time and effort that you put in to creating such unique pieces. We look forward to seeing your designs in future projects like the ‘Little Black Dress’ Competition with BrandAlley. Please keep updated with Fashion Capital by signing up for the weekly newswire and checking the Showroom blog.

The Showroom Update

Buyers meetings are coming up next week so please drop your collections into the Showroom at your earliest possible convenience before August 16th or send it by courier.

Debenhams Womenswear on August 17th
Harvey Nichols Menswear on August 19th
We are updating everything at The Showroom and with the change of seasons, come new collections and images for our Look books. Please send new images of your collections so that we can add you into the look books that we send out to buyers. The Showroom must always have the most up to date images and information to market designers properly to the buyers. A story or blurb of your brand and new collection is also a really great way to market your brand to stay ahead of the competition and is widely used by London Fashion week designers at LFW shows to inform press about their collections.  It really does add something extra so please send blurbs/story’s and images to Lynsay@fashion-enter.com
As always please check the Showroom blog and The Showroom group page on My Fash_Com, updated every Friday with the latest Showroom news and updates with buyers.

Goodbye to Vanessa Isaia

FashionCapital is soon to say a sad farewell to one its longest employees Vanessa Isaia. Vanessa was part of the original team at the London fashion Forum and then made the transition to Fashion Enter in 2006. Since then she has led on the FashionCapital trend predictions and was Project Manager at the British Designers Collective at Bicester Village. She is now embarking on a new chapter in her life and everyone at FashionCapital wishes her all the luck in the world!

‘It is with much regret that as of the 1st September I will sadly be leaving Fashion Enter.  I will dearly miss working on the website as it has been a part of my life for over six years now and I have grown extremely attached to my areas of work.

I have spoken with Jenny and Jenny has agreed this is the best way forward for us and the Company.  Having been married for nearly one year I am keen to have a baby or two and this is now becoming a priority for me.

I will be working on the Bath project helping Jo bring all this together until it is officially opened on the 1st September.

I will dearly miss you all and wish each and every one of you the very best!!  You are all wonderful people each with your own gifts and talents.

Of course I miss Jenny the most! She has been the most supportive person in my life for many, many years now and I am truly grateful for everything she has done I say this with tears in my eyes.
God Bless you all

Lots of Love
