FashionCapital in Drapers Record
Last week FashionCapital was featured in leading trade journal Drapers Record. The piece focused on the new venture in Bath with the British Designers @ FCBoutique opening in September but also highlighted other important projects. It’s fantastic to receive this press so the industry can really see how much we help and support up and coming designers.

To prepare for the FC Boutique launch, a photo shoot was held in the photo studio beneath the Croydon Enter Boutique yesterday using 5 amazing models and talented photographer to help propel your labels sales. The shoot was an incredible success producing some truly outstanding images for the exciting new look of fcboutique. Thank you for those of you who have got in touch with Emily Tullett expressing your interest, but to those of you who still haven’t contacted emily@fashioncapital.co.uk about this amazing opportunity you need to soon to ensure your label features within the launch.
Voting has commenced on the BrandAlley Little black dress competition!
Get those images in to me pronto in order to get the votes in. We have been receiving a lot of interest from you but the LBD images are taking a while to come through so please send them over as soon as you can thanks. Fashion Enter offers an exclusive PR Dispensary Service for designers. This unique service provides exposure for designers to become more recognised in the press via distribution of press releases. One of the latest members of the PR Dispensary is fashion label Cocoabella designing a collection inspired by African romance and 80’s pop culture. Miami update
Over all the Miami project was a success – the designers that were selected were shown to many buyers and press from all over the US and much feedback was received as well as an order.
The agency found that buyers were reluctant to order from such new brands with out a huge amount of background information. Buyers in the US would like to see brands over and over again and watch their brand develop a little before putting in orders; this ensures that they get a constant level of quality. Feedback from buyers was positive for all brands.

The Collection is association with FC and Edge Models
FashionCapital is now looking for cutting edge designers to showcase their designs in the next fashion show. Venues are already being reviewed and after the Summer Showcase we are now looking for most innovative and advant garde designers to wow the stylish and influential crowd being drawn into top London nightclubs for The Collection! You will have up to 10 complete outfits on the catwalk, inclusion on all pre and post event publicity, opportunity to be interviewed on the promotional DVD and professional images of your collection on the catwalk. FashionCapital hit Sonisphere Festival
Last weekend FashionCapital.co.uk teamed up with Musical networking site Listenout.net to provide a full music and style report from alternative music festival ‘Sonisphere’. From a fashion point of view this festival was intriguing. Festival fashion trends were cast aside for band tees, neon leg warmers and cross dressing. Amongst some hideous fashion disasters their were men in corsets, greasy half dyed hair, steel toe cap boots, baggy jeans, skinny jeans and general fashion un-awareness. There were of course little a few gems hidden away!

Fashion Enter’s How to succeed in fashion today seminar!
After the resounding success of the last seminar held by Fashion Enter on how to make your business succeed in fashion today, a new date has been set. On the 29th September the team at FE and a series of industry experts will be revealing their knowledge and expertise in an all day seminar covering all aspects of the industry and setting up your own label. Young Apprenticeship Programme Finale
Last Friday at Fashion Enter Barking was a fantastic day showcasing the students from the Northumberland Park School’s finished garments to complete the 20 week Young Apprenticeship programme facilitated by CHENEL. Review full article and images.
Congratulations to the wonderful students who have chosen to embark on this unique experience over 20 Saturday’s within the last year and we wish them every success in their very bright future and a huge thank you to CHENEL for facilitating the Young Apprenticeship Programme to provide these young fashion enthusiasts with the opportunity of experiencing the broad range of potential career opportunities in the wonderful world of fashion.
Boutique Pick of the Week
