Hanging it all together for the fashion industry

NEWSLETTER

I woke up at 6 am this morning with my head absolutely whirling over all the exciting new developments taking place on Fashioncapital….how sad is that! Vanessa and I had a meeting with the fabulous Carol Mead from the British Library yesterday and it’s full steam ahead.

Just watch this space to have an all inspiring on-line Museum that will be full of true inspiration for the 1,000s of designers that use the site weekly. You can click on to the developments of the on-line museum by registering FREE on to FashionCapital and then clicking the news section.

Aren’t the mood boards fabulous under the Trends section? Having worked for three main retailers, Littlewoods, M&S and Principles for Women the boards by Paola di Giovanni are amongst the best I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

Congratulations on such outstanding work Paola. We also have a selection of the latest silhouette trends live on the site that have been carefully researched by Vanessa. No wonder we are on course to receive over 1.5m hits for the month of September!

The London Fashion Forum are gearing up for their stand at London Fashion Week kind courtesy of the London Development Agency and The British Fashion Council. At the stand we will be previewing the fashioncapital site and so all the outstanding designers who are currently uploading their images onto the on-line boutique HURRY UP! Your images could be reviewed to the 1000s of buyers that attend LFW. If any of you are coming to LFW please pop in and say hello – stand number  – E2.

Finally a big thank you to Belinda Manfo of TopShop Concessions  who has been an absolute star. We now have the first three designers gearing up for their launch in a new designated area at the Oxford Street London branch for Sunday 3rd October. Other collections are being reviewed this week and we will keep you posted.

Have a great week ahead.
