Day 1 – Clothes Show London!

After months of hard work and preparation the much anticipated fashion and beauty event kicked off today, seeing a whole host of designer brands selling and showcasing their designs to the fashion hungry consumers.

The FashionCapital boutique has already proven to be a popular hotspot at the event taking place at Earls Court this year. Shoppers can find over 20 up and coming designer names selling an eclectic mix of unique designs, ranging from the highly sought after corsetry by Corset Art to the ever popular vintage finds of Whereareyounow? Josie x.

 

FC regulars such as the delightful Trollied Dolly’s and funky label Connected Generation have both enjoyed a successful day. New to the collective has seen the vibrant jewellery designs of Lilygrace Originals and the striking prints from Me and Thee both generating sales and further more creating awareness of their brands.

 

The search for the best dressed shopper in the I love your Style competition has been a fantastic success seeing stylish fashionistas posing in front of the logo board all day in hope of winning a designer goody bag! A huge thank you to all those designers who have donated an item from their collection! We have another 2 days of style hunting but with stakes so high already it’s going to be a difficult decision selecting a winner.

 

FashionCapital is also delighted to announce that 3 of our designers have made it into the main fashion theatre! This is a huge spectacular catwalk show styled by top fashion stylist and well know name in the industry Alexis Knox, which is seen by over 100 000 consumers! Me and Thee, Whereareyounow? Josie and C. Grand London are all featured. Watch this space for a full catwalk report.

 

Day 2 tomorrow will see FC taking to the Style Stage in a ‘Concept to Catwalk’ presentation, providing that all important advice on designing your own garments and the reality of the world of fashion.
