When Music meets Fashion

 

 

In a unique collaboration between the Music and Fashion sectors, the LFF has been working with City Showcase to provide new emerging Music Artists with the latest Fashion Designer talent. On Thursday the 23^rd June various Artists including the band ‘British Beef’ met at the Kingly Court Boutique to review a wide cross section of Designer Collections including menswear collection ‘Field’.      .

 

A representative of ‘The West End Extra’ came along to take photos and write a report on the event.

 

 

Anisa, a Designer/Stylist had this to say about the event; “It was good fun! Nice to meet young emerging Musicians, and from a Styling point of view it was nice to meet young people who are open to new looks and ideas”.

 

Abid aslam from menswear label ‘OGZ’ said; “Definitely worthwhile attending. A fresh way of putting together Designers and Musicians to work together, in an ‘I scratch your back you scratch mine kind of way’”!

 

A representative of ‘Field’ said; “I thought the Artists were really exciting! It’s a fantastic way to bring great British talent together. Fashion and Music always work together so it makes sense for them to meet”.

 

 

City Showcase takes place on September 5^th-9^th September.
