  1. Duro Olowu

{mosimage}Duro Olowu is a first time recipient of New Generation sponsorship and already a winner of the 2005 British Fashion Award for “New Designer”. Olowu’s fluid dresses created from vintage fabric finds from around the world with his stunning self-made prints make him set to become one of fashion’s rising stars. In addition to this, his printed, loose kimono ‘Duro’ dress is set to become a cult item (if you haven’t snapped up a copy yet, you soon will).

  1. Marios Schwab

Grecian Marios Schwab, receives catwalk support this season and is celebrated for his seemingly simple dresses which although appear simple reveal a subtle mastery. Curvaceous body-seamed cuts take inspiration from old-fashioned corsetry and carry intricate geometrical shapes and trademark metallic appliqués.


 


 


 


 


 


 


 



  1. Todd Lynn

{mosimage}Todd Lynn receives both exhibition and catwalk sponsorship this season and is the man behind the wardrobes of music legends such as U2 and The Rolling Stones. He launched his first eponymous collection in September 2006 and wowed the fashion world with his easy take on rock’n’roll cool with a mix of sharp tailoring and casual deconstruction.

  1. Erdem Moralioglu

Erdem Moralioglu was the winner of the annual designer competition Fashion Fringe in 2005, he will also be receiving both catwalk and exhibition sponsorship. The signature of Erdem’s designs is distinct contrast – whether it be masculine/feminine or exciting print/ plain colour.

  1. Jojo&Malou

Jojo&Malou is a London based womenswear brand, which recently showed its second collection at Stockholm Fashion Week and have their exhibition sponsored by New Generation this season. The Swedish duo offer a quirky brand of girly fashion with mini-shift dresses and playful prints.

  1. Modernist

Modernist, design duo and ex-Fashion Fringe finalists – Andrew Jones and Abdul Koroma receive exhibition support, for their sophisticated and unashamedly feminine label. Slick draped and deconstructed dresses with beautiful cut-outs and soft shapes are set to be a commercial success.
