Model Watch: New Faces on the A/W 07/08 catwalks

It’s not an industry secret that the girl Miuccia Prada sends down the catwalk to open her show will be the next big thing. This time it is another Siberian beauty called Irina Kulikova. After walking exclusively for Calvin Klein in New York, Irina opened six shows this season. Not bad for a new face. The Russian model has signed a contract with IMG Models New York.

The Australian beauty appeared at almost all the big brand shows this season; including YSL, Dior and Valentino. Skipping New York for Europe, the 17 year-old even opened seven shows. Amongst the Russian model crowd she seemed quite exotic with her dark elegant look and sharp features. A look we could get used to! Catherine works with Next Models in New York, Paris and London.
