NY Profile
Now in its 9th season the critically acclaimed fashion event will be making its debut appearance in New York City in 10th and 11th September. Sponsored by asos.com and funded by City Fringe Partnership and the LDA, we will be taking 35 selected ladieswear, menswear and accessory designers to showcase during New York Fashion Week!

Kingston boutique
In October 08 FashionCapital is set to open an exclusive new showroom and new head office in the prestigious area of Kingston-upon-Thames. In collaboration with Kingston College the Life Style Boutique will be invitation only.
This is the first of its kind in the UK and will combine designs from highly talented, emerging designers and retailers associated with Fashion Enter with existing fashion students at Kingston College.

Profile showcasing at Fashion Expo
On 19th November at the Business Design Centre in Islington Profile at FashionExpo will return after the success of last years event. It will provide a unique environment to unite designers with buyers, retailers and manufacturers to promote local production capabilities and cutting edge design talent.

Talent Scout asos.com
Fashion Enter designers first launched onto asos.com in May this year and since then asos.com have been so impressed they have returned to see more of we can offer. The leading online retailer has announced they wish to revisit Enter Boutique for a third time next week to view designers AW collections to place an order for Christmas. With 11 ladieswear designers already showcasing and another 4 under review asos.com are now looking to accessories.

Face of Barking and Dagenham
Following the success of the Face of Croydon modelling competition, the search in now on for the Face of Barking and Dagenham coinciding with Vicarage Field’s Model Search. The winner of the Face of Barking and Dagenham will be flown out to New York City to join winner of Face of Croydon Kym Whittle to model in NY Profile.

Eco Bag Design Competition
FashionCapital has joined forces with Croydon Council to tackle the unnecessarily extensive plastic bag consumption within our benevolent borough. The competition to create a design that will feature on a series of reusable bags to be sold throughout Croydon stores later this year.

Understanding the Fashion Industry
FashionCapital’s initiative ‘Understanding the Fashion Industry’ provides students with a unique insight in the fashion industry and an acute understanding of the design process. Highly successful it has recently worked with students from Westwood Language School, culminating in an end of year fashion show, Performing Art students at Croydon College, Eastbury Comprehensive School and Brittons School Havering.

Contract with South Africa
Fashion Enter is working with the South African Government and asos.com in an exciting, new Fashion Fusion project. In addition Fashion Enter is collaborating with Lesley Sternberg from the the Design School Southern Africa on a knowledge transfer between the two countries.
As a result of such an enormous workload we are realigning the company to ensure that we offer an exceptional service to our designers and clients.
With immediate effect Fashion Enter Ltd and www.fashioncapital.co.uk will now be contracting the professional accountancy services of BPK Associates. Fashion Enter already contracts with BPK for our final year accounts but now the day to day management of the accounts will be held by BPK Associates.

We would like to thank Sue Donnelly for her excellent work over the last six months as our book keeper. Sue is spending more time with her family and commented “I have really enjoyed my time with Fashion Enter and it’s been extremely rewarding.
