Freckles: A Trend or just a Trait?

Take freckles for instance. Vogue magazine, the Bible for all things "in" and "out," has firmly declared that freckles are trendy – at least for the shelf life of its September issue. Having freckles is uncontrollable. It's nature. It's genetics. It's a trend? Avoiding the sun or wearing SPF keeps the uneven clusters of melanin slightly faded, but for those of us completely spotted, no normal makeup could possibly cover them.
