LFW Sept 08 – Jojo and Malou
17-09-2008

Belts kept everything about the waist and we loved the back bow detailing on them. Though the main vibe was ‘60's spy', the garments definitely had an 80's feel about them. From tiered skirts and shifts with ruffled panels, this collection was definitely one for party girls. Necklines varied from round necks to sweet-hearts and sleeves tended to be short or non-existent. While dresses and skirts were the main pieces in the collection, there were some tailored shorts and playsuits.

The colour palette fell well into what we've already seen this week, with plenty of electric blue, tangerine, coral and yellow tones, accented against blacks and whites, with hints of sparkle. Beside the hand drawn prints, there were some more cartoon elements to the designs, with bold, abstract prints and polka dots (seen on many a catwalk this week).

With fans including Sophie Ellis Bextor and Amy Winehouse this brand is set for big things.
