One of the big trends this Autumn/Winter 08/09 is ‘LACE’! Designers such as Alberta Ferretti, Philip Lim, Derek Lam, Roberto Cavalli and Stella McCartney have all used this look in their collections.

 

Dresses have delicate lace inserts incorporated into them and jumpers are elegantly embellished with lace too.  Overlays with iridescent shine, pure opulence with a twist.  1920’s, 1940’s and 1950’s shapes have been re-worked using this look.   Romantic and feminine, sexually alluring allowing for an almost gothic and mystic approach.
