Fashion Fever: Feeling Hot…or Not?
02-03-2009

Fashion Fever turned up the dial on the boutique's trend thermometer. The temperature in Centrale was raised to a feverish level. Professional models, manicures, in house DJ and live music…if you missed it, you missed out.
Croydon on the Catwalk
Saturday, February 28th was a day for people to shop and share in the ENTER experience. It was their chance to treat themselves to unique designer pieces and be treated to manicures, music and much more. Centrale shoppers were invited to showcase their dancing talents in the ‘head, shoulders, knees and toes' competitions. The dance off filled the air with amusement and amazement as children and adults alike shirked their inhibitions and ‘got down' on the boutique floor.

ENTER – The Runway
Wanjiru, Dammy and Cherelle showed the Croydon crowd what models are really made of. Donning Enter boutique's fashion forward ensembles every stride and strut oozed confidence and stylistic flair. The girls were an absolute pleasure to watch and work with. Please check our upcoming issues of Fashion Capital's weekly newswire for ‘Model Musing.' It will feature my interviews with these and other model marvels.
Now from the runway to the type of people we encounter everyday – the boutique was also home to one of the latest fashion v art exhibitions.

The I Feel exhibition
"I Feel Exposed is a celebration of emerging talent from the UK's fashion and media industries…The I Feel experience provides a great opportunity for new faces to develop as models. Particularly those models [whose] unique look has not been widely celebrated in mainstream culture…" [Except taken directly from the exhibition blog]
This exhibition, under the careful art directorship of Bukola Dagiloke, takes observers on a journey into the model's mind. The viewing continues in the boutique until Thursday, March 4th. You are welcome to come along and join in the Fashion Enter experience.

The Fever is over
Fashion Fever's juxtaposition of the ‘real' – the exhibition versus the ‘ideal' – the professional models was a poignant message to onlookers and customers that Fashion Enter boutique caters to the devout creatives as well as the casual and curious.
Fashion Fever visibly and explicitly declared that our garments are trends tailored to all sizes and body shapes. It was a celebration of the runway models and real women role models. Don't just take my words for it. Visit our uber-chic boutique in Croydon or Barking and make the experience come alive.
The Final Bow
London Fashion Week's curtains are closed but the door to our boutique is wide open. Join us in March as we celebrate International women's month and mothering Sunday in store. Our resident DJ will be mixing the latest tunes and some old school favourites every Saturday. Massages, manicures and make overs….make your way down to Fashion Enter boutiques.
