Kozan
28-08-2009
With a series of very commercial garments fit for both evening and day wear combined fitted dresses and skirts with draping detail and complimentary yet contrasting in colour tops to match.
With slouch dresses and playsuits falling to give an asymmetric silhouette, the ultra glam ready to wear collection is definitely the fashioncapital.co.uk favourite so far.
Again shoulder detail was featured although not taking prominence as seen in previous shows during the event, although mainly portrayed in garments fit for work wear.
Pleating and was another favourable technique mainly used with silks teamed with cropped turn up trousers and floating strapless draped dresses.
Laser cut is an evidently common technique used in Turkey as seen in the winner of the leather category in the Koza young designer competition accompanied with metallic flashes eluding through each cut out occasionally complimented by excessive ruffle shirts.
Then came the minniest of the mini dresses with models struggling to conceal themselves down the catwalk in stunning pinks and whites.
Then the sequined combinations transcended the catwalk with inimitable detail and tight colour stories oozing glam club chic reminiscent of young Hollywood starlets with matching mint trench coats and blazers.
No doubt Kozan will break the British market and we will be seeing more of this talented lady.
