Today’s workers are steadily hanging up that business suit for good as Britain’s workplaces adopt a more relaxed approach to the office dress.
Nowadays, 53% of office workers always dress smart when at work, compared to the 71% five years ago, 52% who always wear a tie at work today is the fall from the 68% who did five years ago, and 38% of workers currently wear a suit to work, compared to the 56% five years ago. “Dress down Fridays” has also grown on Britain, with 72% of British workers dressing more casually on Fridays.
Maybe it’s nicer to flow with trends, as well as more fashionable, rather than sticking to the same look everyday at work, having your own style and flair. Smart casual: working business with a little panache!
