The Collection storms London’s club scene!

FC recently joined forces with leading modelling agency Edge Models to promote up and coming designer talent and rising stars in the modelling world. Last night the show took place at Vendome Mayfair and with a guest list exceeding 300 people it stormed London’s night life!
10 new and emerging designers had the opportunity of showcasing their collections to a vibrant audience of press, buyers, stylists and fashion conscious clubbers! Reporters from leading entertainment news agency Bang Media, television show London Entertainment on Sky and ITN’s new fashion channel Fashion 411 all expressed great interest in the show. The show opened with the stunning designs from eco luxury fashion brand Beautiful Soul. Each garment intricately constructed from vintage Japanese kimonos, the silhouettes, style and texture looked divine.

Next Rhoda’s Fashions and Belles of London rocked the catwalk. Rhoda’s Fashions showcased a beautiful selection of classic, tailored jackets with ruffle detail and fish tail backs and Belles of London once again wowed with their high octane glamour of sparkle and oversized shoulders.

The models then came out in a selection of stunning dresses perfect for stylish summers by Eva Evanovich, in hues of baby blue and lime green. Boutikee carried on the vibe in a fuse of vintage inspired dresses with an eastern touch.

The next two designers inspired by African prints hit the catwalk in splash of colour and culture. Fee Uhssi Designs uses hand dyed African and wax print fabrics and worked fantastically in the show with African prints a hot trend for the summer. Sadjii Soyentii complimented each outfit with an array of leather accessories and handbags.

Me and Thee fitted perfectly into the clubbing scene with striking prints and body con dresses and then Simon Wang, a firm favourite at FashionCapital and Shanghai Fashion Week designer, showcased his beautifully made collection including a tuxedo style jacket and mustard yellow frill skirt with gold detail.

Simply French Knickers certainly spiced up the show with their simply stylish yet sexy silk knickers, and the models wearing nothing else but heels and sultry smile!

Last but not least urban designer Left Foot Right Foot ended the show with their bright, funky designs and printed Tee’s in a body popping, all dancing finale.
A huge thank you to everyone involved, we couldn’t have done this without you. Watch this space for the next collaboration between FashionCapital and Edge Models.
