CC Show

This Thursday, I attended the Viyella Press Day – CC show (which used to be called Country Casual and has under gone rebranding). The first thing to catch my eye was how colourful the AW10 collection was.

The CC collection is composed of lots of striped shirts following navy trend, as well as many fur coats and bolero jackets. Other items included cashmere pullovers and coats.

CC included a hot trend for AW10: the dress coat. This style can be worn as a dress or a coat and then were found in psychedelic and animal prints easy to wear for any event.

Nevertheless, the most important point of this collection are the accessories: impressive and colored necklaces and bracelets these jewels add a little bing to any outfit.

Upon first inspection, CC appeared to be targeted for an older clientèle’ day but by lingering there more I realized that many pieces were definitely wearable at night.

The best seller of the season again appears to be the “velours cotelle”. A great seller in a variety of colours in previous seasons, CC says AW10 will be all about purple.
