Petite

What happened with Us, people under 1.60m, in this “Big World”? Everything is built for “big people” apparently (but TopShop’s Petite Collection, thank God).
Have you ever asked yourself what happened with Us, having a lovely bath (lovely??)? It is completely an adventure. First point: You have to agree with me the bath is slippery, isn’t it? And so it is supposed to be relaxing. Is it relaxing for US? NO, it isn’t. I promise. Second point: you have to lie down in the bath. But it is slippery, and you arrange that stopping yourself with your feet. So, what happened then with Us? I will tell you: While our feet stop our body because of the slippery bath, our head gets a 90-degrees bend (because the shape of the bath). Finally, the “relaxing bath” makes our body an L shape. Absolutely non-lovely.
The slim-fit jeans trend is such a miracle!! It was the first time in my whole life I could wear jeans the same day I bought them. I always had to wait for the tailor’s arranges for the length problem. By the way, We have to be grateful to high-heels… Really?? Ok, they are wooonderful, BUT: they are painful, they are bad to the back (so are to our wallet), they are impossible to wear the whole day… Sometimes, I think if I would fall over, I could break my neck!! Moreover, I’ll never forget when one of my childhood friends told me: “I don’t know why you wear these shoes, we always see you the same size”. Easy and fascinating, isn’t it?? Nevertheless, I love These Shoes.
And what about the underground? Does anyone think We are able to hold ourselves on these high (huge) bars? But the night clubs are one of my farvourite adventures. Never mind how big the club would be, We are just going to see the people who are in front of us, at our back and at both of our sides.
If you look around you, celebrities, you can see a lot of them are petites: Drew Barrymore (5?4” =1.62m), Jennifer Aniston (5?5”=1.65m), Shakira (5’00’’=1.52 m), Kylie Minogue (5’00’’=1.52 m), Ashley Olsen (5’1’’=1.55 m), Penelope Cruz (1.62m), Eva Mendez (1.65m).
But Jokes apart, You shouldn’t measure people about their height, afterall, what is worth is the inside-length.
