Ellis Johnson: She optimised the use of exagerated ruffles to emphasise parts of the female form . Ellis worked with sheer fabrics and contrasting black feathers. Structured smooth lines play along side the chaotic pleates and ruffles. This created a collection with a feminine, almost angelic style with a dark twist.
Jennifer Smith: This designer created relaxed silloutes with the use of subtle safari prints. Nude tones were a feature throughout. Jersy t-shirts were layered with ties to cinch in at the models waistline. Pants were again relaxed with neutral prints, much time and precision must have been taken when creating such busy but sublte prints.
Sarah Zadeh: Sarah’s collection was striking with her use of candy pinks overlayed by black slashed jersy fabrics. Many styles were expressed through the use of slashed fabrics from mini body-con stlyes to maxi length dresses. She has a real talent for manipulation of fabrics to create an interesting and vampy design with perticular care for spacing to get the optimum impact.
Jessica Thompson:This designer took advantage of her illustration and graphical skills by printing them onto fluid chiffons. This method really brought her quirky illustration of animals and shapes to life .Their were splashes of vibrant blues and oranges again animating her designs. The shapes created were peplum waists and pull ball sleeves. This collection also feautured a stunning red rain mac with splashes or colour , and light reflecting fabric.
Rochelle Foley:Rochelle is a clearly talented designer who works confidentlly with colour tone and smooth satine fabrics.Pastel tones of yellow ,pink and browns created harmonous organic , flowing designs .One piece that was perticulary eye catching feautured oversized ruffles from the neck down with an added process of fraying to create varying texture between the satine fabrics.
Daniele Reed:As a designer ,his approch to the collection was a diverse and exciting one ,not like any that feautured alongside.Daniele made an impact with structured heavy fabrcis such as leather and studd effects. The cuts of the garments were angled ,some with leather tastels for added attitude .Daniele also showed skills patternation of geometric graphic prints. He combines elements of relaxed sport attire with gothic influences.
Aimee Richmond:This collections main focus was the use of acid washed ,tye dyed heavy fabrics with feminine subtle floral prints. The shapes were as feminine ,with contrasting neon pinks on buttons and ties drawing the eye to such details that make us look closer to appreciate the skill of the designer.
Kirsty Stringfellow:This collection was breathtaking ,the design skills used and the sheer amount of time taken to create the garments really shine through. She mainly used tradtional fabrics such as crochett ,knits .Metallic bold prints that were imposed onto these creating texture and vivid eye catching designs.
