Simple Shoes

 

Simple Shoes is a brand that originated in California, 20 years ago, aiming to provide a stylish and environmentally friendly alternative to the over-built and over-hyped products in the market place. Footwear can actually take up to an average of 1000 years to degrade, but by manufacturing their products using EcoPure, an organic compound that eats away at the bonds holding rubber and plastic together, Simple Shoes will biodegrade in just 20 years.

 During the event I was able to see the designs staying true to their Californian heritage with simplistic, comfortable and smart design, whilst maintaining the need to follow a sustainable business path. I saw so many pairs of shoes I wanted to take home for myself, and below you can see some examples of the effortless and easy style transferred into the sustainable footwear.

 

The brand also deliver’s products for men and children, as well as women’s footwear. The children’s range is so cute and stylish it makes me want to shrink my feet so that I can wear the Infant Weegee shoes myself!

 

Simple Shoes not only uses EcoPure in the manufacturing of products, but recycled tyres, organic cotton, hemp, bamboo and PET. The brand is a great example of how sustainability and fashion can be fused together to create responsible and appealing product.
