The cash flow forecast estimates what your cash surplus or cash deficiency will be in the future. It there is a surplus, you can plan to invest it in the business or for interest. If there is a cash deficit you can, in advance, make arrangements for extra money to be brought into the business as a loan or equity; or it may be possible to rearrange the plan to reduce or eliminate the deficit.
