Interview with Jennifer Ruthlow, rising star LCF graduate
01-09-2010
I’m a recent graduate from London College of Fashion having studied a joint degree in womenswear and textiles specialising in print. Originally from Scotland l escaped the wilderness four years ago and moved to London.

What inspired you to pursue a path in fashion?
It was a natural progression l knew from a very young age it was the path l wanted to pursue.
Growing up, who were some of your role models?
Honestly l never had any l have always respected people for things they have achieved but l always wanted to make my own path in life.
What is next on the horizon for you? And where would you like to see yourself ten years from now?
Who knows time will tell – l have dreams and hope that in ten years time l will still be in the industry

If you weren’t involved in the fashion industry, what would you most likely be doing?
A common question that l have been asked from a young age, yet l still have no idea- defiantly something creative.
How would you describe your personal sense of style?
I have a very distinguished sense of style l know exactly what l do and don’t like – l love heels and chunky jewellery on top of layers of garments , colour is key and the way in which a garment fastens is essential – its all about details.

What are your top 3 style rules?
1- Heels ever outfit looks better with them 2- Accessories complete an outfit but not to go too over the top in less u can pull it off 3- The colour palette this can make or break an outfit think about the outfit from top to bottom!
