BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund shortlist announced

is the third support scheme which aims to assist talent British designers develop a creative business into a global fashion brand. The existing schemes providing support are NEWGEN, supported by Topship and Fashion Forward by the London Development Agency.
The Fund provides one British designer with £200,000 and mentoring support, supported by Topshop, Vogue, Burberry, Clothing at Tesco, Debenhams, Harrods, House of Fraser, HSBC Commercial Bank, Jaeger / Aquascutum, Marks & Spencer, Paul Smith, TONI & GUY and Westfield Shopping Towns.
The eight shortlisted designers representing the best British labels were announced on the 25th November 2010. The shortlisted designers are as follows:

Christopher Kane
E. Tautz
Jonathan Saunders
Nicholas Kirkwood
Osman
Peter Pilotto
Richard Nicoll
The selected designers have been invited to present their collections and future plans to the judging panel chaired by Alexandra Shulman, Editor of British Vogue, comprising industry experts and Fund sponsors.
