If you are about to receive your exam results and still haven’t decided what to do next a career in garment technology is certainly worth considering with plenty of positions available.
Garment Technologists can be employed by manufacturers, brands or high street retailers. They are involved in choosing an appropriate fabric and design so the garment can be produced within budget. They work with Pattern Graders to oversee the sizing, fitting and testing of the pre-production garments.
Fashion Apprenticeships Available Now!
We have some fantastic roles currently available:
ASOS.com is looking for two apprentices to join their womenswear garment tech team and one in menswear.
Topshop is looking to recruit a further Technical Apprentice.
Fashion Enter is looking for an Apprentice Pattern Cutter to join the Fashion Studio team.
Susannah Hunter – luxury leather handbag company is looking for a Studio Assistant to train in the construction of their handbags and accessories.
CMT London who produce for Victoria Beckham and Erdem are looking for a Production Assistant.
Tottenham Textiles is looking for a garment construction apprentice who will experience pattern cutting and stitching in their North London studio.

Apprenticeship Screening Day
Last Monday (7th August) we held an Apprenticeship Screening Day for those interested in a fashion apprenticeship, offering the chance to hear about the vacancies currently available as well as to meet our team and discuss which career route could be best for them.

What’s Your Brand Story?
