Anna-Maria has always been interested in the fashion industry, she achieved GCSE’s and A-Levels in a range of different subjects including Fashion & Textiles. She is hardworking, efficient and makes sure everything is done on time. Anna-Maria is in particularly interested in designing & making couture eveningwear dresses, she likes the detail and that each dress is different.

Anna-Maria decided not to follow the university route, as she wanted to find something with would be more practical rather than theory. In her research she came across FashionCapital, here she applied to take part in the Level 1 Stitching Academy in collaboration with ASOS.com. During her time on the course she learnt how to use industrial machine, and make a basic pattern. Once she had completed the course, Anna-Maria was offered a place at The Factory at Fashion Enter on the Level 3 Apprenticeship course.

Anna-Maria is now based in The Factory admin office where she does a range of different tasks; including contacting customers; ordering trims and fabric; getting all the paperwork ready for deliveries and general admin. However, Anna-Maria’s main role within Fashion Enter is using a system called Galaxius where she inputs all new orders and generates a critical path.

She is enjoying being based at The Factory as she is constantly learning new things about garments and the way they are constructed. Anna-Maria feels that Fashion Enter is the perfect place to start her career and she is excited of what the future may hold.
