N17 Creative Callings: Silver Rox Goes into Production

Gary and his brand Silver Rox is the latest company to receive free mentoring and support via the N17 Creative Callings initiative. 

Silver Rox evolved from a love of make-up, prosthetics and costume design. Keen to develop his unique style into fashion Gary honed his pattern and stitching skills at the FC Designer Workspace. He then developed his unisex Doot Suit design, a sequinned all-in-one style that shouts glam from head to toe! 

Harnessing the power of social media and half a million followers on TikTok Gary created a pre-order response for his Doot Suit. His potential customers had spoken and the demand was there, so with advice and support from the Fashion-Enter mentoring team Gary’s first design is now in production!

This week (9th February 2022) sequinned fabric for the Silver Rox Doot Suit was on the cutting table and is currently being stitched and shipped to a long list of customers.

Gary comments: “There I was in December minding my own business on a fab course learning stitching skills (at FC Designer Workspace) and then I met the two Jenni/y’s and before I know it I’m on the N17 Creative Callings program! 

“I’ve already been mentioned by a journalist for The Times, I have my TikTok video being shared all over the place and I now have half a million followers and this week I’m in production with my fabulous Doot Suit!  It’s been four weeks! A whirlwind! Am lovin’ it!”

This first order marks the beginning for the Silver Rox brand which is all about championing genderless roxstar style. The N17 Creative Callings program has made all this possible and the Fashion-Enter team will continue to support Gary as he develops his business.
