Job Description:

The job role of an Allocator is to provide support to the whole of the fashion / retail merchandising team. An Allocator is often the first step that a candidate will take on their way to becoming either a Fashion Merchandiser or Branch Merchandiser. You will be the main point of contact for suppliers to ensure all goods arrive on time and maintain stock accuracy across stores. You will allocate new stock out to stores to ensure their arrival for each new season and through each collection ensure all stock is replenished in order to maximise sales.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting an Assistant Merchandiser in the successful management of a department
• Analysis of sales figures and merchandising performance
• Planning stock allocation for each store
• Organising stock transfers and movement within the business
• Liaising closely with warehouses, stores and other Head Office departments
• Stock replenishment ”“ understanding replenishment to maximize full price sales and demonstrating knowledge of stores
