Artist Statement:

I am working in London and as a freelance fashion photographer.

I like the fact that you can create an image from reality and turn it into something beautiful. Seeing David LaChapelle’s work 5 years ago sparked my interest. He creates fantasy and incorporates it into fashion and glamour with seriously dark and sleazy undertones. It’s great work. It’s not sex or sleaze but very borderline. At the moment I am interested in dark but saturated images. I like to incorporate stories and themes as often as possible. I am working on a shoot about chav culture at the moment and know its going to be a big topic. Well it was featured in last months vogue…
