Mela Boev graduated in Fine Arts and Decoration at the Arts Academy of Bologna (Italy), but she also studied in France (Ecole des artes decoratives de Strasbourg and Ecole de Beaux Artes de Marseille) finally landing in London full of hopes.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After getting a studio space at Cockpit Arts (www.cockpitarts.com), Mela Boev started her own label of one-off hand crafted silk scarves, trying to “tell stories through design”.  “I dream of people wearing fairy tales,”she says. No doubt each of her one-off delicate scarves has a unique feel, created with florals along with geometrical and abstract patterns. Mela ensures that each scarf remains special and unique to the person it’s designed for.
