Aiyana. London’s bright young label is inviting you into a world of
stunningly subtle and elegant accessories that are the epitome of
femininity. Created by Central St. Martin’s educated, Nitika Israni, Aiyana
is the accessories brand of exquisite jewellery and handbags for glamourous
girls who are sexy and sophisticated.
Aiyana’s designs are distinctive with rich colours and textures, using the
finest and most supple leathers. Finding inspiration from her ethnic
background and varied experiences including working for Jimmy Choo, Nicole
Farhi and Ben de Lisi, Nitika has managed to incorporate materials and ideas
from all over the globe. Her inspiration this season ranges from the
Victorian to Art Deco with a fusion of Persian art and intricate Indian
‘Moghul’ Jewellery. The result is a stunning collection. Each piece, be it
jewellery or a statement handbag, has a unique quality and is ultimately
individual.
The jewellery is vibrant and all neckpieces have an intricate and
exceptional focal point with pendants crafted from sterling silver,
Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, and cubic zirconium. Each piece
demonstrates the versatility of the suede and nappa, incorporating
techniques such as pleating, braiding and embossed gold and silver.
Aiyana handbags, are already shooting up the ‘must have’ ladder.
Hand-crafted from the finest leather with simple shapes – the details are
what make the bags: woven panels, jewelled closures, beads and metallic
embellishment. Each bag makes a subtle yet strong statement.
Nitika has decided to extend Aiyana from her select clientele to the public,
offering women what simply does not exist.
