Festive Fun – Technical Skills Workshop at FCFTA Leicester

The FCFTA Leicester campus opened its doors once again to two groups of fantastic Fashion Management students from Nottingham Trent University.

Taking place over 2-days the technical skills workshops provided a seminar on UK manufacturing and circular fashion, plus the opportunity to learn the skills and techniques needed in CMT (Cut, Make and Trim) to make a top or a festive stocking.

These workshops are available to educational institutions, industry and corporate companies as team away days.

If you would like to hold a skills workshop please contact: jackie@fashion-enter.com to discuss your needs – they are really good fun too!

Crisis at Christmas

FEL’s Development Coordinator, Gee Fletcher, had a fantastic experience volunteering at the Crisis Christmas pop-up shop on Savile Row. She also spotted the Crisis printed bags, created at FEL’s micro factory, adorning the Christmas tree. This pop-up has now closed, however if you would like to support Crisis, the national charity for people experiencing homelessness across Great Britain, then you can donate online or visit and shop at one of their charity shops such as the one in Finsbury Park, 19 Stroud Green Road, London, N4.
