Gain Skills in Gerber
As with all industries technology is constantly evolving and changing the way we work. In terms of fashion production the requirement for CAD pattern cutters has rapidly increased within the industry. In order to keep up with the demand manual pattern cutters need to upskill and adapt the way that they work to incorporate these new technologies. Gerber is a prime example and the Gerber Accumark digital pattern making 3-day course for beginners provides the perfect starting point.
Previous learner feedback includes:
“Today I learnt the basic skills required that will enable me
to use Gerber. The seminar was held in a very relaxed atmosphere. Ben is very
patient! With a wealth of knowledge.” –
Amanda
“This course has provided a really good
introduction.” – Deborah
The next three-day Beginners course will take place 8th, 9th and 10th December and there is a 2-day Advanced course scheduled for January 2021. Please note that learners on these courses need to have a general knowledge of using Windows.
FC Designer Collective – Sarah Hill
From our north London shop this week we feature local artist Sarah Hill and her range of hand drawn greeting cards. Tap here to read about her work and her future plans.
“It is the first time I have ever had anything in a shop before, so this opportunity to have my greeting cards showcased is very special to me and a new experience to learn from. I have enjoyed seeing the other designer’s work in the shop, especially ‘Another Earthling’s’ surreal and textured animal masks. I hope to merchandise my designs onto other mediums such as umbrellas, tote bags, vinyl record covers and more.” – Sarah.
