These Covid Times

A message from Fashion-Enter Ltd CEO Jenny Holloway:

Just one month until Christmas and unfortunately the latest data confirms that the pandemic is very much back again. It’s easy to get down and have negative feelings, pessimism and frustration but you have to ask what can be done within your own realms of possibilities?

We certainly don’t have the answer but we can say that we are by your side and here at Fashion-Enter we’re rolling up our sleeves and doing everything that we can both at work and working from home to support all of our clients. Every day we aim with steely commitment, steadiness and total professionalism to make our manufacturing and training proceed smoothly.

We have changed our ways of working, moved to the digital age and instigated new Covid policies and systems. We believe that, remaining close and keeping on doing our job, we will be able to offer a product and a service that will be recognized and valued and that will be ready to fly when Covid is behind us.

This time will pass! Keep well and keep safe and remember we’re here for you.

Jenny and the Fashion-Enter Ltd team.

Anna Morrissey founder of Tummy Ache is a FashionCapital member she said:

“The meeting with CEO Jenny Holloway was extremely helpful and inspiring. We spoke about all the ins and outs of starting a business, from packaging to distribution, Jenny equipped me with the information and recourses that will enable me to feel confident in the development of my ideas, and when going into production with my latest range of T-shirts.

“The face-to-face meeting allowed me to feel comfortable and confident that Fashion-Enter had my best interests at heart, their emphasis on helping small business and working closely with designers shone through in the meeting I had with Jenny, who took me through both the small and large facets of running a business. I particularly liked the values of inclusivity and sustainability that were outlined by Jenny, the predominantly female workforce and eco-consciousness of Fashion-Enter resonating with my own business values. I am very excited to develop my brand with the help of Fashion-Enter and continue working with them in the future.”

Fashion-Enter Featured in The Guardian

Now for a good news story – The Guardian reported that UK factories could be making up to £4.8bn more goods for British retailers in the next 12 months as the coronavirus pandemic and Brexit prompt businesses to bring home production. Published on 23rdNovember 2020, journalist Sarah Butler discussed ‘Made in the UK’ with Fashion-Enter CEO Jenny Holloway, amongst others. Jenny commented:

“It’s commercial suicide to back long lead-time stock at the moment. Retailers are getting closer and closer to the season,” she said. “There is no way I would have opened the factory in Wales unless I was certain there’s a long-term trend in coming back to the UK. It’s exciting.”
