A Fashion Enter Summer Wedding
It’s not every week the Development Director of Fashion Enter / FashionCapital AKA Jenni Sutton gets married! Yes, yesterday was the big day for Jenni and James, hence the delay in this weeks’ newsletter! After James’ visa drama, threat of deportation and even a feature in the Evening Standard, Jenni and James are now official – congratulations to the happy couple.
Here is the bride with Beth, Jenny Beth and our CEO Jenny Holloway – looking summery and gorgeous.

Invest in Knowledge
It was interesting to read in The Times that Sir Philip Green has just invested in education, adding Global University Systems to his extensive portfolio. Upskilling and education is fundamental to the success of our industry and you can never have enough skills or understanding across the entire production process.

Making A Difference
There is nothing more genuinely satisfying than seeing the learners, apprentices and start-up brands that we work with develop, grow and forge their way into the highly competitive fashion sector. Recently Val Navea joined our FTA Stitching Academy course Level 1 and 2 and her enthusiasm and positivity about what we do simply had to be shared:
“By chance, I came across Fashion Enter and it now feels like the perfect environment and spiritual home for me! I cannot thank you enough or thank the tutors enough for such an amazing experience here and I’m very proud to have completed Levels 1 & 2 of my Industrial Sewing course. I have witnessed so many wonderful moments, watching others grow (as I have been improving on my basic sewing skills) and truly believe that Fashion Enter is what I’ve always strived to recreate and be part of.”
Val has a highly impressive CV and is now looking to set up a small manufacturing company with her partner. Additionally she has offered to work with Fashion Enter on a voluntary basis so as to deepen her understanding of how we operate a fully compliant and ethical factory. Made in Britain starts right here!

Good Luck to Tumaini Football Brand Kickstarter Campaign
Anthony Oteng, Founder and Director of Tumaini Football comments:
“I have just launched a Kickstarter campaign for my football brand ‘Tumaini Football’. Through crowdfunding, I plan to further develop and source a manufacturer for a unique patent pending football shirt that I have been working on for the past 2 years. The project is called ‘RNP: Removable Name Panels’. The project was developed and sampled by the team at Fashion Enter/FashionCapital (who were amazing!) but we now need help to take the project to the next level. Support and shares would be greatly appreciated.”
