Top Marks for FTA’s Tailoring Courses

Fashion-Enter Ltd’s educational division, Fashion Technology Academy (FTA), has scored ‘excellent’ and ‘good’ on a recent SEG (Skills and Education Group) external moderation audit. The FTA’s tailoring courses run from ‘Introduction’ to ‘Level 5 Diploma in Bespoke Tailoring and Pattern Making’.
Fashion-Enter Ltd was reviewed on the quality of information given about the qualification, resources supporting the qualification, course organisation, individual support provided and assessment processes.
The overall summary included:
‘Tutor feedback is very clear and I saw sufficient evidence from the learners for this course. The Internal Moderator is thorough but please ensure that all comments are directed at the assessor. Any comments to the candidate could be added to their feedback sheets. The comments to the assessor are supportive. The Internal Moderator has identified any CPD required by the assessor and will put this in place as a way for continuous improvement. All the practical samples seen were very clear and meet the quality required. Samples were well illustrated.’
