Team FEL – A Year of Major Projects

10-12-2021

As we near the end of 2021 Fashion-Enter Ltd CEO Jenny Holloway reflects on what a major year for ‘team FEL’ (Fashion-Enter Ltd) it has been.

‘In September 2020 we launched the Welsh factory and the Fonthill Road shop ‘FC Designer Collective’ in October 2020, we then opened the FC Designer Workspace September 2021 followed by the FCFTA (Leicester) in October 2021.

‘Additional projects have included: N17 Creative Callings, where we support and mentor creative businesses in the local Tottenham area, the GFF X TikTok Residency and the first Fonthill Road Christmas Market.

‘These are not easy projects – the devil is always in the detail but the can-do team and spirit of FEL is incredible. We know change hurts and it’s unsettling for every person but change we must to the new dynamics of the fashion industry.

‘Our biggest step-change is vertically integrating backwards with on-site fabric printing with Kornit Digital and automated cutting with Zund UK Ltd. This is an entirely new industry with new processes to learn.

‘None of this is achievable without an A Team – I’m so proud of the team we have, from Rob our Chargehand who’s ex-Remploy to the Directors and Heads that are amazing jugglers! Everyone has an important role to play and together we make a positive difference for the good.

‘When I left the retail world as a Senior Buyer I vowed that I wanted a flat structured social enterprise where everyone could be themselves; where synergy would work and there’s no finger pointing blame games.

‘We have achieved that and that’s why we can be nimble and responsive. A big thank-you to the FEL dream team. This is YOUR success!’
