London’s famous Carnaby Street has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox to deliver a truly innovative Queen-inspired art installation, immersive shopping experience and fascinating exhibition that has descended on the city as cinemas are rocked with the momentous release of Bohemian Rhapsody.
The iconic street is currently paying homage to one of the world’s most phenomenal rock bands, where visitors and fans will be indulged in a fantastic ode to Queen and Freddie Mercury via this exclusive and unprecedented installation. Expect to walk down a fabulously illuminated and nostalgic memory lane from October 18, 2018 – January 6, 2019, under a bridge of dazzling neon lyrics that include Queen’s iconic opening ‘Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?’ and of course including the playful ‘Galileo’ and ‘Figaro’.
The statement Queen crest – which was designed by Freddie Mercury himself – is elsewhere adorning the famous arches of Carnaby and features a grandiose crown that arrives illuminated and sits regally on the top of Carnaby’s glistening flag.
Official merchandise and apparel are available to purchase at the curated shop along with an exclusive collaboration by Bamford, additionally hosting an enticing fan experience by Roger Taylor’s favourite tattoo artist Manuela Gray, as well as a grooming station by Hawkins & Brimble. Freddie will be in attendance in the form of his Madame Tussauds famous waxwork figure, providing a must-see photo opportunity for all Queen fans!
Apparel includes t-shirts featuring the iconic Queen crest logo, baseball jackets and windbreakers, as well as vintage tour tees and a unique kidswear clothing line, including leather jackets and t-shirts decorated with ‘We Are The Champions’ slogan. Gifting and accessories are also on offer in the vast array of tote bags, caps, mugs, Freddie-inspired moustaches, phone cases, socks, keyrings and water bottles.
Bamford Watch Department is collaborating with the pop-up, exhibiting an original Queen edition of their luxury Mayfair watch, which features a sleek design of black and gold with the dial face emblazoned with the Queen logo.
The film is extraordinary, with the band’s compelling narrative and iconic songs that challenge you to remain in your seat! An epic must-see!
