N17CreativeCallings Participant Shortlisted for Junior Design Award 2022!

N17Creative Callings participant Lauren Morrison and her innovative brand ‘Mi-Bambino London‘ has been nominated for ‘Best Fashion Newcomer’ (UK and International) 2022 by Junior Magazine.co.uk. #JDA22
Lauren joined the N17CreativeCallings business support programme in 2020 and has worked incredibly hard to develop her luxury, sustainable childrenswear products and brand. When she initially joined the N17CreativeCallings program Lauren was making exclusively in China and had logistical and reliability issues.
Over the last two-years Fashion-Enter Ltd (lead partner on the N17CreativeCallings programme) has worked with Lauren to create a new non-clothing section of the brand for Mi-Bambino London to maintain stability, along with a new product section of non-fashion (ideal for baby showers). Next we are working with her on a joint program to move the brand back to the UK and create new designs for sleepwear and babygrows.
Fashion-Enter CEO Jenny Holloway commented: “You can’t do this job unless you really know a person and their business. I have had many calls with Lauren on a Saturday and Sunday and it’s important Lauren knows that I am really there for her. She is a marvellous person and so committed to her brand but she works three-days a week, so of course it’s hard to make your dreams a reality when you have financial commitments you have to meet. I am genuinely so delighted for Lauren being nominated for this award but I am more delighted by the resilience she has had and the transformation of her business is clear for all to see.”

N17CreativeCallings is a European Social Fund (ESF) and GLA programme that was awarded to Fashion-Enter Ltd as the lead provider in collaboration with Collage Arts in November 2019.
