Meet Fashion Studio Client: Cerci Equestrian

14-09-2021

About the brand:

Cerci Equestrian creates premium equestrian performance clothing that is hand cut and made in London by the Fashion-Enter team. We source high quality performance fabrics and trims from Italy and Switzerland before importing them to London to be made into garments. Each individual garment is designed with a focus on creating solutions and increasing comfort and performance for our riders. Our aesthetic focus is to create elegant and timeless equestrian pieces that blend tradition and modern style to empower our riders both in and out of the saddle.

All of our designs are created in-house by our Founding Director, Colette Beagan. Colette was born and raised locally to Glasgow, Scotland. Colette started horse riding at 5-years-old and never looked back. Since then, Colette has gained experience in both showjumping and dressage disciplines, providing her with an extensive knowledge of the equestrian world.

In 2018, Colette was awarded an internship on the world-class Saltire Internship Programme which sources and develops Scotland’s next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. Colette is now Saltire Alumni and hopes to inspire students who desire to follow a similar path. In 2019, Colette graduated from university with a first class honours degree in Business. Following this, Colette wanted to combine her passions for horses, business, and design, and in 2020, Cerci Equestrian was born.

Shortly after Colette started developing Cerci Equestrian, the first case of Covid-19 was confirmed in London. Colette worked 1-2-1 with the Fashion-Enter team remotely from home in Glasgow throughout the pandemic to get Cerci Equestrian to launch point. Even in the toughest of conditions, the Fashion-Enter team turned out high quality pieces in the lead times promised.

Cerci Equestrian was launched on 1st June 2021 after 18 months of development. Since then, Colette has attended trade events, met customers, received feedback on the products, and is currently working on 2022 wholesale plans and two collection drops for next year.

Colette on working with Fashion-Enter:

“I interviewed and sampled with a few factories before connecting with Fashion-Enter. I knew from the first zoom call with Jenny (CEO) that Fashion-Enter was the factory for me. Fashion-Enter was the first factory that I felt wanted my brand as a client and wanted to do the job well. Jenny’s passion for Fashion-Enter was clear and I knew that this passion would be carried on into my garments.

“I work closely with Claire and Gee from the Fashion Studio on organising patterns, samples, production, and deliveries. I also work closely with Niki on the pattern and sample development of all Cerci Equestrian garments. Their communication is fast and precise and all work is carried out to a high standard. The work lead times are always as promised and I have never been let down working with the Fashion-Enter team.”
