FEL Talks Tech in the Interline’s 2023 Digital Product Creation in Fashion Report
26-01-2025
Just published (13th December 2023) is the second deep-dive report from The Interline on digital product creation (DPC) in fashion.
The first edition; The DPC Report 2022, was read by thousands of DPC leaders and digital transformation decision-makers around the world, reaching the world’s biggest brands and its most disruptive startups.
In this second, in-depth issue leading industry professionals, including the likes of Brendon Ronon – Gap Brand, Clare Tattersall – Digital Fashion Week and Antonio Talarico – Future Front Row, share their insight and knowledge on how DPC is rapidly evolving in the fashion sector. The report also includes five pages of informative opinion from Fashion-Enter Ltd’s CEO, Jenny Holloway.
Jenny discusses the importance of embracing the digital age and how it can be utilised to encourage positive change. She explains how, in difficult circumstances, she has taken the plunge and introduced hard and software partners to create an on-site micro factory that can fulfil ethical, made-to-demand orders. Partners include: Kornit Digital, Zund Cutting Systems, Style3D and the United Repair Centre.
Jenny concludes her section in the report with: ‘So much of the negative impact of sampling and production overseas can be solved by working closely with a partner that has really proven the ability of DPC and other digital tools to deliver an in-country offer that deserves a key place in their sourcing strategies. Perhaps 2024 will be the year that the wider industry wakes up to the opportunity – and with the support of our technology partners, Fashion-Enter will be waiting.’
