Fashion – Enter Ltd Supports the Free Festive Clothing Event Organised by Mambano Projects Foundation

15-10-2024

The Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) team were pleased to support The Free Festive Clothing event organised by Mambano Projects Foundation on Sunday 3rd December.

The Mambano Projects Foundation is a charity based in the UK, with operation teams in both the UK and Zimbabwe. The Foundation supports communities in need through a variety of projects including the ‘Covered Clothing Project’, where collected, useful items of clothing have been sent to villages in Zimbabwe.

In November 2023, the Foundation received a call from one of their previous sponsors. This individual works in the retail industry and had lots of new, and next to new clothing left over from seasonal sales. The Free Festival Clothing event was devised to share with those in need this Christmas.

Following this generous donation, a previous Mambano Projects sponsor, owner of Ornate Bridal blessed the Free Festive Clothing Event with two, free custom made, sample wedding gowns. To be donated to two brides planning their wedding.

In order to present the wedding gowns professionally for the event to be held at Jesus House of All Nations, the Foundation approached Fashion-Enter’s educational division – the Fashion Technology Academy to discuss the use of mannequins. Members of the Foundation met with Beth, Head of Creative at FEL, and she was able to organise four mannequins for the charity event scheduled to take place 3rd December.

The wedding gowns and two other dresses were beautifully presented at the event. The elegance of the gowns gained prominence and looked more professional thanks to the use of the mannequins.

The Foundation commented: “It is partnerships, trust and support, such as that received from Beth and the FTA, that have allowed Mambano Projects to touch many lives and present well in public.

“We successfully gave out over 400 clothing items for free, to congregants in Jesus House on the 3rd of December. Our hearts are full. We take this opportunity to extend sincere thanks to Jesus House of All Nations, an organisation that supports the Mambano Projects Foundation, and our partners who made this event a success:
