A charity that provides support to the women survivors of war, Women for Women International was founded in 1993 and has since supported over 447,000 women survivors of wars from regions including Afganistan, Northern Iraq, Syria, Nigeria and Congo giving the ability to rebuild their lives through a 12-month programme which teaches them about their rights, life skills and gives the opportunity to learn both vocational and business skills.

“We are so thrilled to be hosting the Women for Women International Car Boot Sale this May and we are hoping it will be even bigger and better than last year. We have such an exciting line up, an endless array of special pieces and amazing bargains to be had. We hope as many people as possible will come down and support this inspiring cause.” Alex Eagle, Creative Director of The Store and Alex Eagle

“Once again for the #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale we have a magnificent, creative group of women and brands joining forces to show the power of fashion to create real change for women survivors of war – our sisters – on the other side of the world. I could not be more delighted and grateful.” Brita Fernandez Schmidt, Executive Director, Women for Women International UK.
