Speaking on her support for the groundbreaking BEAM Awards, Jourdan (pictured right photographed for PonyStep magazine) said; “I’m delighted to be a judge for the BEAM Awards. A televised event like this is another step toward making diverse faces in entertainment, fashion and the media generally, a non event. I’m excited that progress is underway and it’s exciting to be a part of the change.”

Sir Trevor McDonald OBE will take centre stage as the host of The BEAM Awards, a night which promises to celebrate and showcase the best and brightest BAME talent, across a whole host of areas of public life.

The 2016 Beam Awards is also honoured to welcome Mariah Idrissi as an ambassador. The 23 year old West Londoner is the world’s first model to wear the hijab in a high–street fashion campaign for H&M and is part of a growing movement that aims to bring modest fashion to the masses regardless of faith or religion.
