Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue

On Thursday 8th September 2016, British Vogue will air their first ever fly-on-the-wall documentary on BBC2 at 9pm. In a two-part programme Vogue opens their doors to the world as they prepare to celebrate their 100th Birthday!

Dubbed the fashion bible of the world, Conde Nast publishers British Vogue, first printed the magazine 100 years ago and it has since evolved into the most regarded print publication in the UK.
A dream come true to all working in the fashion industry, Absolutely Fashion; Inside British Vogue will give a glimpse in the lives of those who have been working with the publication for decades including Editor-In-Chief Alexandra Shulman, Fashion Director Lucinda Chambers, Creative Director Jaime Perlman and Fashion Features Director Sarah Harris.
“The process of being filmed over such a long period of time was intriguing although at times, testing.”
Shot by filmmaker Richard Macer over a 9-month time frame, the documentary is also set to highlight events, day-to-day life and fashion’s most famous faces including supermodel Kate Moss and world renowned photographer Mario Testino.
For British Vogue 2016 has been a year long celebration. From Vogue 100: A Century of Style at the National Portrait Gallery, London (now at Manchester Art Gallery) to Westfields Pop Up Vogue Café, readers have had the ability to become involved and learn more about their favourite fashion publication.
