For apprentices, Liga! helps match the apprentice to the right career and apprenticeship scheme in order to gain recognised qualifications and for training programmes, Liga! will find the right learners for work based learning. Essentially Liga! are a match making team within the working environment. There is a wide database, which is continually growing, for both employers and would-be apprentices. Each vacancy is listed giving everyone the opportunity to find their niche.
With the recent announcement that the UK has dipped back into recession, there has been a rise in companies taking on apprentices so now is the time to get involved and learn whilst working in an environment that you, the apprentice, love. Liga! is a just another way to get involved with the apprenticeship programme that Fashion Enter currently run. The Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship takes place at the Fashion Studio at UEL. For four days a week, the apprentice, will be out in a work environment, for the remaining one day, the apprentice is based at UEL to learn from Fashion Enter all the necessary skills needed for the job in question.
