The Classes
I started running regular fashion illustration evenings in Shoreditch in March 2012 inspired by the lack of such activity in London and the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion about it. The classes are also a great opportunity to get fashion illustration enthusiasts together, discuss the subject and raise awareness about it. In this short amount of time they have become quite popular attracting over 100 people and consistently getting positive feedback. They have been featured in Marie Claire UK and have grown from a monthly gathering to a weekly activity. It is aimed at all levels of experience and backgrounds – please see class blurb below for further info:
London’s only (affordable!) Fashion Illustration classes. 7-8:30pm. Aimed at all levels of expertise and held at one of Shoreditch’s most adorable venues, Paper Dress Vintage, the classes are small in size and offer personalised tuition and demonstrations by Fashion Illustrator Clara Gomez whose clients include Diane Von Furstenberg, Nike and Robbie Williams. You’ll be working from a lovingly styled live model and surrounded by beautiful clothes to inspire your creative powers. We’ll be working from short and long poses, so we’ll also have a chance to look at different rendition and observation methods.
